- Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2023Excellent: from tracking metrics, candidate experience, sourcing and talent campaigns, to TA tech to thinking about setting up a TA team. Such a great recruiting guide.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2020This book is a strategic view from the CEO who has been in the recruiting world for more than 2 decades. I enjoyed that the book uses clear examples to demonstrate how hiring needs to be more than making a few successful hire. As an HR leader, I admire the practicality of the book and also appreciate the strategic value of the methodology.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2020As both a Founder/CEO and a lifelong recruiting professional, Jerome provides key insights into bridging the gap between the misperception of recruiting as a cost center and the reality of it being a critical strategic function. An easy read, but important for any recruiting professional.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2020Hiring top talent is the #1 priority for most CEOs and hiring is becoming more and more competitive. Jeromes book is a great outline of how to hire at the level that drives a business forward.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 11, 2022Very comprehensive and insightful and easy read!~
- Reviewed in the United States on February 13, 2020Hiring Success is full of success stories from global leaders when it comes to hiring. Unlike most books about recruiting, this book is opinionated and controversial yet practical. For example: it states that the owners of hiring success are not recruiters, it's actually hiring managers.
The story of the CEO, Pat Gallagher who hired sales execs as his recruiters and literally built a sales and marketing function to hire the best insurance agents and brokers across the organization. It then explains why he did this, the metrics, and how it was operationalize.
Another example is why Juventus recruited Ronaldo to the club. This book is full of perspective that made me pause and rethink the scope and role of talent acquisition.

Great book!
+ easy/ fast to read
+ simple to understand
+ a lot of realistic data and valid points
+ great approach to implement new proposed KPIs and great approach to take hiring and talent acquisition seriously
+ great book for managers, C-level people to understand hiring
± more applicable for bigger companies with budgets, a lot of roles, or many applicants, I missed a ‘smaller companies’ applicability
